I had the privilege of being invited to this wonderful event held by Vita Cubes last October 22 at Active Fun. Too bad Yñigo couldn’t go with me due to a family thing my boys had at the same time, but nonetheless, it was such a pleasant thing to be a part of. I mean, if felt like a cool kiddie party with so much activities for both parents and kids to enjoy. Kids were given a chance to go around Active Fun’s big playground, while moms had a venue to catch up and chikka! I saw sooooooo many moms — those that I already knew, admired, and even those who I only knew on social media. It was great seeing them in person (I feel so bad saying this but it really is true. Some bloggers know each other based on their IG handles, or blog names). But I’m thankful for the event to create a good atmosphere for everyone to have fun. This is what Vita Cubes is all about —- having fun while taking care of yourself or your kids (on a holistic level).
I even had the privilege of seeing my dear friend, Frances Sales. I wasn’t able to catch her talk, but I heard reviews and comments from fellow moms / bloggers that she gave such an insightful talk on blogging, on balancing life being a mom, and how she spends her time wisely with her kids — and what tools she provides to make sure her kids’ health are in check! Gaaaaaah I missed you so much Frances! Thanks for our heart-to-heart after your segment. The things we talked on marriage, motherhood, writing, career, politics (so much rants HAHA), pursuing passions, and taking risks —- I won’t forget that!!
I guess the best part about the event apart from seeing this girl, and seeing all the happy people who were there was that this brand is actually something I support — and the cubes really taste good. It reminds me of these sweet candies I used to eat as a child… but this is definitely a healthier version of what I used to take. Let me give you a run down of what VitaCubes is all about…
These delicious fruit-flavored jelly candies are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals needed by any growing child. My doctor told me that I shouldn’t give VitaCubes yet to Yñigo on a daily basis (cause he’s just almost a year and a half old) but we’ve made him try and I could see the excitement firing in his eyes. He craves for it — and that’s a sign that these mini-health advocating sweets are actually good for your kids. It comes in packs containing different variants of flavors — apple, orange, mango, strawberry and grape. Plus they don’t taste as processed… unlike other forms of “healthy” candies or food that incorporate powered flavored components. These little squishy treats also contain Lysine, Zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E, all of which are recommended for any growing kid.
What surprises me at times is that Bobby’s so addicted to it. I swear. One day, I came home with 2 boxes of VitaCubes and I think he finished it in a week. I’m not even sure if that’s okay, but he’s just so amazed with how good it is. Better to be addicted to this than other things, right? HEHE.
Well, for those who want to purchase, you may catch them at Landmark, Mercury Drug outlets, SM Supermarkets, Robinson’s Supermarkets, Puregold, Mini Stop, and other local groceries. To know more info on it, visit Vita Cubes’ Facebook page!
